I felt much more useful today with the 6th grade class; they started working on the second section of their piece, which is much more challenging than the first.  Because the movement is so challenging for them, they constantly need individual help, which makes my assistance necessary more often.  I started working with them on an individual level for the first time today.  Also, today they felt more comfortable with asking me to break down a step for them.

Tomorrow is the big day, I'll teach my first class.  Overall I think it will go fairly well, and I think they'll be very receptive.  I've planned out the entire class, from warm-up to the combination.  Since the combination is going to be inserted into their piece, I want to make it fun for them but also enjoyable to watch.  Hopefully all will go well and the combination will be a hit.
